Infinix X custom ROM for Innjoo Note Pro

Here's the highly anticipated custom ROM for the Innjoo Note Pro, this ROM wasn't developed by me, it was ported to our device so the credit belongs to the original developers (Infinix). Main features of the ROM includes:
  • 3g switch
  • Better battery backup
  • More responsive UI

This ROM is intended for development purposes, it should fix all problems on your Note Pro. The distribution in any method whether online or offline is strictly prohibited but you can use it for your own personal use. Please note that installing a custom ROM would void your warranty, so tweak your phone at your own risk. It is advisable to make a full backup before installing a custom ROM, you can make a backup from PhilZ recovery. I hereby won't attend to any issue regarding a bricked device, so proceed at your own risk.

You'll be needing four things to install Infinix X on your phone,
  • your brains
  • the ROM
  • PhilZ recovery
  • a bottle of Origin.
I'll be providing download links only by emails.

 STEP 1: Root and Backup your device
Download KingRoot from google and it should root your device easily. Backup your files and apks to your computer or move them to your memory card. 

STEP 2: Flash PhilZ Recovery
Copy the downloaded recovery.img to the root of your sdcard. Download mobile uncle from Playstore, open Mobile Uncle and select Recovery Update, and then select the downloaded recovery.img. Boot into PhilZ recovery and proceed.

STEP 3: Install Infinix X
From PhilZ recovery, select wipe and format options, select clean to install rom. Select install Zip, install from storage1, and then select Infinix_X.zip file. Drink your bottle of Origin while the ROM installs. :)

 STEP 4: Get root and superuser privileges (Optional)
After installation is completed, while still in PhilZ, select Advanced Function, select re-root system, and then reboot your device. After booting, open superuser app, select update binaries, select from Recovery. Your phone should reboot itself. Enjoy!

      you didn't flash PhilZ recovery, the guide explained it all. Follow Step 2 carefully, copy the downloaded recovery.img to the root of your sd card and flash with mobile uncle.

      how do i Flash PhilZ Recovery?
      ive already copied.img file to my sd card then opened mobile uncle tools, and selected it then booted into recovery but it cant flash, it says wrong scatter file.
      kindly help me on step 2 i cant understand how to do it
      what does root of my sd card mean?

      It means you should copy it directly to your sd card and not putting it in any folder or sub directory.

      i've used the rom for a day and i must say that:
      1.playstore isnt responding
      2.its true the rom is light but at some point it hangs for some few seconds
      3.though it has a 3G switch its slow in loading data packets while you've activated the internet cnnection.
      4.keyboard hangs
      the good thing is:
      1.the powerful feature of battery lasting for long.
      2.very light rom than stock rom.
      3. fast rom
      4.overaly its ui is good but i think it should be customized to be lollpop like/themed :)

      anyway good work vanbayor, i realy appreciate your great effort to come up with the rom:) as a matter of fact i enjoy the rom very well, just try fix those few bugs lol.

      This ROM as been tested on several phones and never encounter any of those bugs. Did you wipe clean from PhilZ before installing? Make sure you follow each step.

      I flashed the rom twice and every once i choose clean to install rom and after flashing the rom i found the phone lagging specially when i start using keyboard for typing - i followed the instructions minutely - at all thanks for you Adebayo for your nice work

      I read reviews that the phone lags a lot, I've fixed the PlayStore bug in Infinix X. I'm going to re-upload tonight.

    Hi Adebayo my phone is bricked as i told u in email i didnt have a sd card to save the new rom .so how can i unbrick it .also the computer doesnt recognise it when connect with usb .if u have any solution for this i will appreciate it .u are doing a great job

      I stated clearly that I won't attend to a bricked device. Always make a backup before you modify your phone because of issues like this. I'll send a fix to your mail.

      Ermal just find the original rom from innjoo website and flash it again using the instructions given. if you want to recover your data, untick cache and user data in sp tool and tick the rest. remove battery and power ur phone :)
      then look for an sd card and copy the infinix X rom in it then flash using the instructions above.
      done, there is nothing like brick these days
