Infinix X custom ROM for Innjoo Note Pro

Here's the highly anticipated custom ROM for the Innjoo Note Pro, this ROM wasn't developed by me, it was ported to our device so the credit belongs to the original developers (Infinix). Main features of the ROM includes:
  • 3g switch
  • Better battery backup
  • More responsive UI

This ROM is intended for development purposes, it should fix all problems on your Note Pro. The distribution in any method whether online or offline is strictly prohibited but you can use it for your own personal use. Please note that installing a custom ROM would void your warranty, so tweak your phone at your own risk. It is advisable to make a full backup before installing a custom ROM, you can make a backup from PhilZ recovery. I hereby won't attend to any issue regarding a bricked device, so proceed at your own risk.

You'll be needing four things to install Infinix X on your phone,
  • your brains
  • the ROM
  • PhilZ recovery
  • a bottle of Origin.
I'll be providing download links only by emails.

STEP 1: Root and Backup your device
Download KingRoot from google and it should root your device easily. Backup your files and apks to your computer or move them to your memory card.

STEP 2: Flash PhilZ Recovery
Copy the downloaded recovery.img to the root of your sdcard. Download mobile uncle from Playstore, open Mobile Uncle and select Recovery Update, and then select the downloaded recovery.img. Boot into PhilZ recovery and proceed.

STEP 3: Install Infinix X
From PhilZ recovery, select wipe and format options, select clean to install rom. Select install Zipinstall from storage1, and then select Infinix_X.zip file. Drink your bottle of Origin while the ROM installs. :)

STEP 4: Get root and superuser privileges (Optional)
After installation is completed, while still in PhilZ, select Advanced Function, select re-root system, and then reboot your device. After booting, open superuser app, select update binaries, select from Recovery. Your phone should reboot itself. Enjoy!

Comment your emails below and I'll send the link to download the ROM and PhilZ recovery.

Van Bayor can sing?

This is an old video of me singing Hero by Enrique Iglasias. I'm not even sure whether I have singing skills, what do you think?

Custom ROM for Innjoo Note Pro

Today I’m going to talk about the Innjoo Note Pro which was released in 2015, the successor of the Innjoo Note released back in 2014. I bought the phone after reading the specs, it came with a 13mp back camera and 5mp front camera ideal for selfies, 2g Ram, and 16g internal storage expandable to 32g. I ordered for mine after reading its nice specs.

Unfortunately, the phone that was marketed to last 2 days could barely last a day. And for people like me that always have to turn on data and 3g so I don’t miss emails, Skype calls, etc, this phone became a pain in the ass. I noticed that the stock rom is buggy and not very responsive, have you tried using the phone with haptic feedback? It’s not fun either.

The Diaries of Van Bayor

7 days in Moor Plantation…

The weather is so cold, you can still hear the rain drops from the sky. I got out of bed and look at the picture of Alicia keys on my wall and then I realised those special moments with those special people.

It all started the very first day I stepped inside the gate of Federal college of Animal health and production technology, Moor plantation. Although, it’s my second year in moor plantation but it feels just like seven days to me, like everything around me is moving in fast-forward.

The Beautiful Game

Football is regarded as the best sport in the world, at some point in our lives we’ve participated in the sport. As a football fanatic, I have the picture of Robin Van Persie hung up on my wall, and each time I look at his picture I realize life isn’t bad at all. I was a very big fan of Robin Van Persie.

Football is perhaps the most popular sport in the world. Almost all the progressive countries plays football. The game makes the players healthy and disciplined and develop in their mind a team spirit and sense of tolerance. Football game is played for ninety minutes with a break of fifteen minutes in the middle of the game.

It is played between two teams each having eleven players. The game is played by kicking the ball, and trying to send it between the goalposts of the opponent team. There is a goalkeeper on each side to resist the ball from getting into the goal post. The goal-keeper is allowed to touch the ball by hand, while others are not. The team, which scores more goals, is declared the winner. The referee conducts the game with the help of two linesmen, one on each side of the field. A player is warned for committing fouls or hand-balls and may also be issued a card if necessary, and as a measure, a free kick is awarded to the suffered team.

I took a walk on a Sunday morning and to my surprise I saw a group of young people playing football on the Bariga-New garage express road. This people had the courage to play their favorite sport on the road regardless of the cars and buses that are making use of the road. I stood by watching them play, and I took pictures and videos of them. Passers-by watched with joy and cheered them as they played, it was simply beautiful. Some might say this is madness, is it?

Football to me is more than just a game, it excites our emotions, we live and breathe football every day, 24/7. We even call ourselves by the names of our favourite players.

The most popular tournament is the UEFA champions league which involves the top European teams contesting for the title and it is played annually. The most successful team in this competition is Real Madrid having won the trophy nine times. What makes this tournament so exiting and popular is that you see the best players all over the world play against each other. The defending champion is Bayern Munich.

A world Cup tournament is played every four years in different countries of the world by turn. Cristiano Ronaldo of Portugal and Lionel Messi of Argentina are arguably the most famous footballers today in history. The next FIFA world cup is scheduled to take place in Brazil next year from 12 June to 13 July 2014. Spain is the defending champion having defeated Netherlands 1-0 is the South Africa 2010 FIFA world cup final.

Here’s my list for the top ten teams to watch out for in the 2014 world cup:

1. Germany

2. Brazil

3. Spain

4. Netherland

5. Uruguay

6. Argentina

7. Italy

8. France

9. England

10. Nigeria

Who do you think will win the world cup next year?
